Jobs - Copywriter
Job Responsibilities
- Copywriting for predominantly offline marketing initiatives including product packaging, Company website, direct mail, and event support
- Writing persuasive copy that engages and drives our customers to take action - action oriented copy, not passive or descriptive copy
- Work with Creative Director to ensure copy’s tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style
- Interface with the Marketing, Technology and Sales teams on specific needs of campaigns with an appropriate writing style
- Conduct research, as needed, for assigned writing projects including target email blasts, Press Releases and Newsletters
Pre-Requisites
- 2+ years of writing experience, including product marketing /promotion work
- Excellent writing skills in a broad range of styles
- Strong conceptual and strategic skills (must be a thinker)
- Excellent presentation skills
Special Considerations
- Ability to grasp technical terms and concepts and to express them in language that consumers can relate to and comprehend
- An intimate understanding of gaming and its culture
